It will... Last night I checked my wallet to pay for food and relaized that my Gold Debit Card was missing, I soon ran back and started looking out for it. I called up home to find out if I left it there. Janice told me that she searched the entire house and its not there. I asked her to call up my mom and tell her to block my card, since any one could directly withdraw about 20K in cash or over 75K in a single purchase. Since the network was bad, Janice thought I was talking about my Credit card and put in a request to cancel my credit card. I called up in a few minutes and realized that I am half way to Dharamshala with just 4K. I just paid 2K for my room for 4 days and still have to pay from my registration and tour which is going to be about the same... Fuck

Well, made it to the island in time for turkey, although since the BC�Ferries parking lot was full (no, really) I wound up getting stuck in their short term lot and almost missed getting on the boat (Of my preferred ways to get to the island, this would be Plan C) I had to tear through the ferry lot with seconds to spare and got yelled at for speeding, but made it onboard in one piece. �

Dinner turned out a bit subdued, as our 18-year old cat is evidently on his last legs, and has been brought home to be in comfortable surroundings, as they say. �$500 just to even figure out whatapos;s wrong, says the vet, $250 to put him down. �He doesnapos;t seem to be in severe pain, just steadily growing frail. �Hard to watch, but he still knows us and is happy for the attention. �Canapos;t even spoil him with food, as thatapos;s bothering him. �

It hardly seems appropriate to talk about recipes for pumpkin cake, and the like, under the circumstances. �Niece is chipper as ever, though she doesnapos;t quite realize that wearing gothic skeleton gloves is not really necessary around the dinner table. �

Feeling confused, lost and sad. Not sleeping well. Dreading going in and clearing my desk on Wednesday.
